The recruiter lie to you by not telling you the whole story, how can you make $16,000 a month when you sit most of the time. They must be doing that new math. You only get one meal a day which is lunch. You have to pay for your own hotel. If you don't have any money I suggest you stay the hell away from Panther because driving for these guys will put you in the homeless shelter, no lie.

Your truck will always be on "E" they only pay you 45% of the load after you leave the loading dock but then you have to keep checking to make sure they loaded your card. Starting Jan 1 they will load 50% on your card, wow a whole 5% woo, hoo!! The fuel is not going to get you from point "A" to point "B" you will have to call in to get another fuel allowance maybe if you get a "good" dispatcher he/she will load you about $100 for fuel but you might get one of those who has a chip on his/her shoulder and fell out the bed on his/her head that morning.

You also have to pay your own tolls and they are not going to reimburse you every dime that you spent on tolls, you have to neg a price with the dispatcher before taking the loads and most of their loads are for a small truck not a tractor trailer. BEWARE, they like to send you in residential areas, where there are no trucks allowed so if you get stopped by the police, you will have a very HEFTY FINE TO PAY. Panther is not going to pay it. So you better think twice.
