I used this company trying to locate information in regards to my marriage/divorce, getting information about my ex-wife in order to file paperwork. I spent time googling for the information and got back nothing but basic information. After reading the site description I signed up for peoplercords and paid (what I THOUGHT was the short-term subscription) the payment defaulted to the full price. Once in I wanted to run a search....here's where I found out that my subscription did nothing, I had to pay additional fees (substantial fees, to me) in order to run a search. Since I was so far in and had paid the subscription fee I figured I may as well proceed. I paid to run the search and got back less than I found using google. I received the name I put in the search (my ex-wifes name) and an OLD address that is at least 2 years old. I contacted the site via their "contact us" and voiced my complaint, as well as my complaint that my initial subscription fee (it may be called something other than that on the site, I don't recall) was processed at the full term subscription rate. The response I received said, basically, "you got results, we performed our service". No satisfaction at all. I sent another email to them giving them details of the transaction and got no response. This company takes a substantial fee to give you what google does free, even less in my case. The way it's set up it may be "legal" but it certainly isn't legit. It's a scam.
