| I got a call from this company on one of my busiest day of the week. The guy whom can't barely speak English clearly told me that he is calling from AT&T and due to the recession they are giving small business a break on their phone bill. He went to explain to me that the government issuing a grant AT&T to reduce small businesses phone bills. He said that with my three lines I will be paying only $98 a month due to this new government help plan and all I have to do is answer yes to every questions that is being ask by a third party company that will record my phone agreement. He ask me if I have any questions to ask him now, because I am not allow to ask the third party any questions or the call will automatically kick back to him. By now I was getting a little skeptical, and ask him again if he is really from AT&T and his quick reply is yes. HE calling on behalf of AT&T to give my business a discount where I will be only paying $98 months. He said the calling every small business to give them these great new opportunities to help out small business like us on such hard time. SO I agree to answer to the third party..When it reach the part where they said that they are not affiliated with AT&T, I told the lady on the recording end that the guy told me it is AT&T. As mention by him earlier it got kick back to him right away and he assured that they are AT&T, but that a third party verification only. So when it when back to her, I naturally answer yet to everything she ask..I know by now I should've seen the red flag, but I was busy and didn't have internet access to check out his company. To make story short, when my first bill came it was not $98 as promised, but $218!! The bill me a month in advance!! I call the company the following Monday and complaint to a guy name Jose. I told him what happen and all he could said was that there no way any of their sale rep. would say that they are from AT&T. That it was my mistake and my fault for answering yes to the recording when I knew that they are not AT&T. I told that i want to cancel and he told me that he can't do that unless AT&T request to have my number ported back. So I call AT&T and told them what happen and they said that they get this a lot from that company and she suggest that I file a compliant with FCC and Attorney General. She requested to port my number back on the 9/2/2011 and I call them back the next week after receiving a late charge and notice letter from them. I told them that I will pay for it, but only if they prorated to the day of my usage only. He told me he have no records of my number being ported by AT&T already. Piss off, I call AT&T and explain to them what happen, in return they gave me the order # that they gave to PLD company on the 9/2 to have my number ported over. I call PLD back and wait for 30 minutes and end up speaking to the same guy JOSE again. I told him that I have the order number from AT&T on the 2nd to have my number ported back and it been ported back..so adjust my bill. HE didn't he listen to all the number I gave him, because he had already had it in his computer all along!! HE told me that he will adjust the number and mail me a new bill. A week later I got the new bill alright...$498!!! They make sure to send it right when they're closing on a FRIDAY! So that I can't call and confront them! So anyone know a good lawyer please send them this way...I will fill this company to FCC and the Attorney General and BBB. This company is a RIPP-OFF, SCAM, LIAR, THEIVES!! They do anything for a few buck, even selling their conscience and dignity to lies and scheme to innocent people. I don't know how the sale person sleeps at night or how the people that own this company justified their dirty, lying money from hard working people..SHAME ON THEM AND KARMA WILL COME BACK IN FULL CIRCLE!! |
