Personal Assistant to famous people
Scam from Nigeria

Craigslist is being used by these people in nigeria to scam Americans, Australians and British people of their money. They claim to be a famous photographer for national Geographic (who really exists), in the fashion industry, film industry, etc.
They lure you sending you a couple of e-mailssaying (in my case) She was Melissa Farlow and she needed a personal assistant in the US, I was supposed to get money to buy a fax machine, a laminator, and a pro paper cutter, instead I got a check for over 2700 dollars that I was supposed to deposit in my bank account and then get my weekly paid from there and send he rest to an address in Philippines!!
I traced the e-mail and ended up being from NIGERIA!, I called the bank the next day but they did not give me info. The envelope had a name and and address from Ohio and the check a name (and signature) from a guy from Virginia! Too suspicious. I never replied again, BUT I spot a couple of more posts in Craigslist, so BE CAREFUL!
