Taking in free horses and putting them up for sale for profit. Claiming to be a rescue. Fund raising to care for the free horses to sell for profit. Quarantining horses for real rescues and inflating costs for profit. Praying on the misfortune of horse owners that can no longer care for their animals by talking them into signing over ownership, then selling the horses for profit. This place is dealing horses not rescuing them as they claim. Shipping sick horses, claiming young horses are older than they. Knowing the breed of a horse and lieing to people to what breed they are. I have worked with this person and have known her for years. She is not honest and will say and do anything to get what she wants and to make money. She told me to talk a friend of mine into signing over their well trained horse they paid a lot of $$$ for so she could re-home it. I was involved with hauling some owner sign over horses. The ladies husband was dieing of cancer and could no long care for all the horses. She took three horses and three minis, sent one horse back because she told me she could not home something like that and was going to put the horse down. I took the horse back to the lady, the horse was 20 and had one eye. The poor horse could not adjust to the move, that is all that was wrong with her. So if it not sell able she does not want to deal with it. She had dealing with a rescue to Quarantine their horses. Then over charged them for round bales of hay because two of her friends rescues horses were eating off the same round bales. Told the rescue that the two draft horse ate 5 round bales of hay in 2 1/2 weeks. The rescue ask me to remove the horses, and keep them till we could get them moved. The two draft horses have been here for 4 days and have only ate 1/2 of a round bale. The truth speaks for it's self. Now she will not talk to me and give me one of my rescues because they claim " I just want that one because it is riding" they are asking $450.00 for it and I got her for free. Just because I helped a real rescue, she tried to cause problems for because she wanted the drafts to re home herself. Be very careful when dealing with this place get everything in writing, and if you sign over a horse please keep track of what they do with it.
