This company called and said they could sell our timeshare (which they had all the details on) at a higher price than what was paid initially. Then came up with Mexico had put a Federal tax on the sale. Then another email to say that there was also a state tax. Then another email to pay for the escrow tax and we would have the money in 3 business days. After not receiving the money, 3 phone calls were made with no response and no return calls. That has been almost a month now. Don't know where to go from here. We did find out after the fact that this scam has been done before with just a company name change.

Amen. I, too, was scammed by Premier Resort Marketing. Same deal. I sent money to Mexico for federal and state taxes and an escrow tax. Once I did that, J. Burton and his band of theives couldn not be reached by phone or email. They disappeared off the face of the earth and I'm out $9, 800.00. I've tried to contact the 800 toll-free number for the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Offcie of Consumer Advocate, but the line is eternally busy.
