No, something much different happened. I logged into progressive.com and proceeded to fill out my claim and went to bed thinking that my windshield would be replaced and i would be all set. Well i was woken up around 8am to someone telling me that it would fall under my comprehensive deductible of $500. I have never heard of this so i asked her to make sure her information was correct.

What it came down to is a supervisor explaining to me that progressive is new to Massachusetts and that they have lost a lot of money since they came here so they had to raise the prices and they decided not to offer the windshield replacement at a $0 deductible.

Upon asking for a supervisor, i heard a different story, it was that i didn't select the windshield replacement coverage when signing up with the "direct purchase plan".

I did some research today, and every insurance policy that is offered in the state of Massachusetts that i have called and/or filled out estimates for today have included glass at $0 deductible. When asked about the law, they replied, "progressive approached the state as to offer it as a optional sale to save drivers more money".

Don't be fooled, progressive is more expensive then 90% of the insurance companies in Massachusetts. ( I called 10 companies and 9 where cheaper... )

Help drive progressive out of business, we cant let people get away with these things. They didn't pass any savings of not offering me windshield replacement to me. They started my policy under $100 just to raise it up to almost $130 months later... This company is a sham.
