Puyallup Auto Center
Puyallup Auto Center Stormy and Terry Unprofessional, rude, hung up three times, never returns calls, delayed sending title, pulled credit score mult
2nd of Jun, 2011 by User787010
We came to buy a used truck, we told the salesman that we wanted our credit only pulled once and that if it didn't work out with their bank then we would use our own. The sales manager, Stormy, was mentioning how he randomly pulls customers credit, the ones that never ended up buying a car from them, so that was odd and seemed very illegal!! In the mean time, they worked out a deal with their bank and we signed the contract same day and bought the car. Two days later they tell us the contact doesn't match the bank's policy and that we would have to re-sign a new contract with a higher monthly payment, and then they said another bank approved us for a better rate (though we never gave them consent to run our credit for another bank). Then, via fedex mail, we signed and returned the new contract. Then, almost four days later they call saying one of our ssn does not match our birth year so they have to redu the contract under one of us not joint. So, via mail, we signed and returned the new contract and never hear back from them again. We call and get attitude from both the sales managers, Stormy and Terry, and was hung up on three times. They refused to send our title to the dmv, they lied saying an employee was not there but in fact they were because we called back to verify. They never returned calls when promised. They blamed us, as the customers, for delaying the loan processing and complained that all they want is their money. Very unprofessional, very rude, and we continue getting many letters from different banks showing that our credit was pulled over six times and now our credit score is significantly lower. This place is a joke.

I worked with Patrick Gress (who seemed very nice) and Stormy Winters who at the time seemed nice as well. I fell in love with a 2008 Suzuki XL7 with only 34000 miles on it. I bought it the day I viewed it. Less than 30 days after my purchase (which mind you, I did not buy the warranty because the factory warranty was in place) my check engine light came on. I called to get my factory warranty info and Stormy was a complete douche to me. I had to figure it all out myself even though they screwed me on the car I bought. All I wanted was a safe, reliable andf larger vehicle as my husband and I are trying to start a family and within 30 days the check engine light came on. I took it to Suzuki and they had to replace the timing chains and heater core. It is still making noises and I have to take it back to Suzuki again before my factory warranty runs in 900 miles. I have since done a lot of research on this company and about 10 years ago they had some judgements against them from a creditor. I have looked over there website and their testimonials are a joke. One is from Rolene... SHE WORKS FOR THEM. She is a the parts/service person. I wonder how many others were falsified? I just can't believe that sleazy used car salesmen still exist.
