REN Fake card St. Charles, Illinois
5th of May, 2011 by User964620
Purchased a Sony Pro Duo 16 G card on Ebay for a trip to Italy. Once in Italy found that the card did not work and ended up purchasing a second card. Once home contacted Sony to see if they would repair or replace the card. I had been gone past the 30 days for Cowboom and didn't contact them. Sony sounded like the correct place to go. They however, couldn't find card and said they never received card. This in August of 2010. Just received the card back with fake written on the envelope I sent it in in. No other words from Sony so called and finally someone could see that they denied receiving but also saw that they had sent it back to me and confirmed it was a fake card. Of course do to the time element Cowboom would not consider doing anything about it. They were happy to let it be sweep under the rug. Question how many other "fake"Sony cards did they sell?
