I contracted RMB Drafting service to expedite the settlement of certificate of occupancy for work that was donâ€™t on my house.
After numerous hidden fees, some of which were for doing absolutely nothing at all they required a final fee to pick up the certificates of completion from the building department. I paid that fee even though it wasnâ€™t something originally agreed upon. Once they picked up the documents they told me there would be another fee of $450 for an inspection that was paid for out of pocket by myself for $125 at the time of the inspection. Just one more last chance to grab some easy money they thought. STAY
away from this company, its run by thieves. They will recommend plumbers and electricians that work for them, in the same building and will find problems where there are none just because they know they have you. The process can be done faster and easier by yourself. Contact your building department. You will save thousand of dollars that will be stolen by these people and their associates.
