In late October 2010 I engaged the services of a so called delivery skipper calling himself Rory Sinclair. The agreement was for him to provide crew and deliver my 5 year old 41ft yacht from Greece to the UK. Foolishly Itranfered a deposit of2500 into an account bearing his name. The weather forcast on the day that he set sail with one inexperienced crew was for a force 8 gale. Suffice to say that within 18hrs of setting off he returned with wrecked sails and riggingand broken engine mounts. No attempt was made to tidy the boat and when I returned after 6 weeks I found sails and rigging in tatters, perishable food left out, bedding left out and the batteries flat because the boat had not been put to bed properly.

To add insult to injury he is not returning my calls and seems intent upon retaining the balance of my deposit.

I strongly advise all who read this to avoid this individual at all costs. He is charming and personable but totaly unreliable and dishonest.
