I flew into Philadelphia PA on a business trip a couple of months ago, I brought my laptop with me for working etc but kept it in my suitcase instead of keeping it with me. After I got to the hotel a little later, I opened my suitcase and was ready to get to work. Well I dont know why, I guess they manhandled my luggage or something. But my laptop refused to come on. I tried for awhile but knew I was no computer tech.

I decided to go down to the 1st floor and relax, have a drink or two, and just sit back. Knowing I wasn't going to get anything done without my trusty companion anyway, I took off down the hall. Well down in the bar I really couldn't take my mind off my work, so I started asking some of the locals there if they knew of any computer repair places that were close and cheap. One of the locals actually had a laptop with him, and together we punched in the city, with the words computer repair after it. A crappy web page popped up that looked like it was made by a 10 year old, http://www.wix.com/saierpc/saier-pc-repair It looked like one of those automated web pages, where you fill in your name, and some crappy html engine does all the rest for you. But it did have a phone number, and I was desperate

The next morning I called the place, Saier PC Repair, and the guy I spoke to said he could come by after work. I didnt think about that until after I hung up, but I guess the guy had a day job that was not computer repair. Later I found out he fixed bicycles or something

At about 5 o'clock, after sitting around all day thinking I should have looked around a little more, I get a call from the desk, and they say a guest is here for me, I tell them to let him up, and a few minutes later I meet the jerk that will haunt my dreams for months

Right off the bat, I can tell this guy is a jerk, and not too bright. When he first walks in I can smell something right away. This clown stepped in dog poop on the way over here, and he brings it into my room. I can see the stains on the carpet as he walks across the floor. Its disgusting, and I ask him to go back into the hall and remove his shoes. He looks at me and says, I aint got nothin on my shoes, while I can see him wiping his foot on the rug at the same time. I'm already upset, but its not my rug, and I really need my laptop fixed. You never know, some of these Jethro looking hillbilly people can be pretty handy sometimes.

Well not this guy. I had to get away from the smell, so I went into the bathroom and left him alone to do his magic. Taking my wallet with me, as this guy id not look normal in any way. After a shower, shave, and a little grooming, I came back out to find this moron sitting on the floor with half my laptop in parts. Its at that time that I noticed his tools that he carried were not even computer tools, he had a screwdriver, way to big for a computer, and a small crescent wrench in his hands, with a CD on the floor that said TECH TOOLS. He was using both tools to pry the plastic open on my $1500 laptop

When I left him alone, I figured he would check the battery, maybe open the small doors in the back, check the memory etc. still thinking it was simply something that came loose from the luggage handlers at the airport. If nothing else, check the voltage from the power adapter, and tell me what part I needed. I never thought that he would void my warranty by splitting my laptop apart like a monkey with a coconut

Looking at the laptop, not only did he have it half split open, but the plastic was splintered, broken, and cracked. I almost lost it right there and I started yelling at him. He just looked up at me and said its ok, its the only way to get into these here things. At that point I finally realized just how stupid this clown was, and that the website I found his number on was in fact a home made, no real domain, do it yourself loser site. This guy couldn't even afford the $5 or $10 it took to buy a web domain

I told him to pick up his "tools" and get the h*ll out of my room before i called the cops on him. Thats when it got even better. He stands up, with his pants half down, and tells me he aint goin nowhere until I pay him a hundred dollars. Looking down at his pants falling down behind his butt cheeks, I realize that the whole time he was working on the laptop, he still had his shoes on, and there was dog poop stain all over the carpet, and even on his underwear that was hanging out of his pants. He must have been sitting on his shoes, on the carpet, fighting with my laptop to get it open

A that point I finally grab the fool, and throw him and his tools out into the hallway. I usually would call the desk and ask for security, but this special ed student looked more like a girl than a man. I could tell he was as weak as he was stupid. After I slammed the door in his face, he stood out in the hall yelling and swearing at the top of his lungs. This of course did get security up there fast. And I could hear him yelling as the dragged his half witted butt down the hallway.

A few minutes later I heard the same shrill little voice, yelling from outside in the parking lot. This guy was so stupid that he was yelling at the wrong end of the building. I actually went out on the balcony and stood there, as he yelled and screamed with his back towards me. Not even knowing that I was right behind him

Well, after that the local police came, and they seemed to know him right away. One of the cars stopped and let him in, and he jumped in the back, like it was something he'd done many times before. The other officer in the second car talked to the guys in the lobby for a few minutes, and then came up to talk with me. I showed them the poop stains, and the broken laptop parts. And they told me he's a local drunk/druggy that works on old bicycles, and computers he finds in the garbage. They asked if I wanted to press charges, and I said no, as long as I didn't have to pay for the carpet cleaning, I dint want to make the poor slobs life worse than it already was. The hotel agreed that they would handle the clean up, and I would take care of my now worthless laptop, and that would be that

Later that day I found a real repair center, and they fixed it right up, except for the cracks and broken plastic that I will still have to look at. I would love to recommend their name, but dont want to list it here in the same page with that halfwits name

When I got home, I ordered a new case, and I'll pay someone to switch it over some time in the future. But until then, I swear, every time I look at that cracked plastic, I smell dog poop, and picture that little weasel with his shorts hanging out the back of his pants, standing at my door, saying Saier PC. Greg the PC dude is here to help you man.

If you ever here that sound, run as fast as you can! This guy was unreal, he didnt know anything about computers, and acted like he was half stoned. Ive seen little kids that have more business sense, and toast that knows more about computers. I wish he did have a real company, so I could sue him for the money it cost me to fix my laptop. But even then, he could never compensate me for the stress and anguish I had to deal with that day.
