Scammed me into signing up for creditreport.com while getting my hopes up about a job position |
27th of Aug, 2011 by Jaker12587 |
I got this e-mail after applying for a job online. The Job was no longer posted on the job search site after I received this e-mail and the pay was different than originally posted. After following the link in the middle of the e-mail I signed up for creditreport.com and was later charged their fees after being told I would not be charged. I was able to get my money back from them. The e-mail I was sent is as follows.
Thank you for applying for the opening "Mailroom Clerk" this position is currently open in Gilbert, Arizona with a pay of $15-18 per hour.
We have completed our initial assessment of the applications received, and are happy to inform you that your application has been accepted by our client for the interview stage.

Once submitted we will review and contact you within a few days to arrange your interview date. Please be sure to complete all parts of the screening. Incomplete screenings will be rejected.
We strongly recommend that you complete the screening on a computer, rather than a mobile phone, to ensure that you can complete the process.
