We set out with high hopes when we signed our contract to begin our Viking Pool project in mid March of this year. Tommy Myrtle started out with a vengeance and had the pool in the ground by the beginning of May. Oh yeah, he collected all the money too, right on schedule. When we questioned the final payment and if we needed to hold some back to ensure our project would be completed efficiently he said "Oh no, we'll take care of you - they'll be no problem"....that was the first lie. Had a leak (gee, wonder who installed), gotta send a scuba driver. Two weeks pass...Concrete guy came on schedule, made our selections, scheduled his part of the project. Time came and went...."oh we're a week and a half behind due to rain"...two more weeks pass. Finally get a hold of the concrete guy and low and behold, he's waiting on Tommy to tell him to come. Then begin the promises about when we will be done, next Friday; no, next Friday, no Tuesday, now it's this Thursday. We have a pool, a wooden pole with a monitor system on it, a filter and pump with a bunch of wires hanging out all over, a lovely concrete patio, a pool full of mud and backfill we had to fight for that won't hold a fence should he happen to grace us with his presence this week. What a joke! They come on strong with a great sales pitch, beautiful pictures of projects they've done, lots of references and come into you're home like you're new BFF. Take you're money and what's left of you're patience. Won't return phone calls, won't admit they can't handle it, won't be accountable, every excuse in the book and won't man up and say they screwed up. And she won't even respond to you. They are so far behind and they won't even work a Saturday to make up time. It's sorry, really, more than anything else. They spend their weekends at their own beautiful pool. We have a mud pit...
