Received letter indicating I've won $120,000 for using my credit card at various retailers, Wal Mart, Sears, Home Depot, Best Buy, Office Depot, Staples, KMart, Target, etc. Attached to the letter was a check for $3670, of which $2990 was to be used for tax purposes to send to tax agent, Carolyn Spencer, in the UK. I called Chris Jackson, my claims agent, who also told me I needed to send $900 for insurance (to Linda White in UK) on sending the winnings check/package to U.S. I was then told I needed to send 3% customs fee ($3600) to Philip Egwu in Houston, TX. We actually did deposit the check but of course it bounced! What a ripoff!! Unbelievable what people try and sometimes do get away with. I sent this info to the FBI, here at this website, and Better Business Bureau.
