Stephen Jones AKA Steve Williams of Solar Powered Products took a $900 deposit off me for solar panels back in late May of this year. He will not return calls and has a bogus call centre. Apparently there have been over 450 people targeted by this scam between the Gold Coast and South East Queensland. Steve's wife allegedly own's or owned the business and is partners in crime with Steve.

Do not under any circumstances sign any deals with the person, as you will be ripped off and help support his extravagant life style his photo can be found on the internet, simply google "solar con man" or visit victim900. He is also known to be extremely friendly with female clients, flirts profusely and makes inappropriate comments after you have signed the deal as I have experienced first hand. |

Steve thought no one would catch him out, hopefully his wife and children read this. And I hope others learn about this disgusting mans habits and rip offs before they have any dealings with him. All anyone needs to do is google his name, depending on which one he uses, and they will soon find out not to go near him and his dirty dealings.
He will get what is coming to him so he cant rip off any more honest people. He himself would not know honesty if it hit him in the face. |

I agree jilted julie, he is definitely hiding behind religion! And a try hard playboy...please at 58 years of age, who does he think he is Hugh Hefner?! The proceeds of his earnings are probably funding his little blue tablets and his wife's mental health.
He claims his wife is suffering from anxiety...stop the sympathy antics Steve, it's called karma! Who is this so called silent partner/director of SPP? Robert Brown, no one has seen, him, his address doesn't even belong to him, another one of his aliases perhaps?
As for his wife...he told me he didn't have a wife or children and yet he claims he's been happily married for 19 years! Happily married men do not crack onto other women, and if he tries to say that's just another sales technique I certainly don't buy it.
The only thing I did buy from this con man was a deal that was not legit, which caused much disappointment and a huge financial set back. Shame on you Stephen John Jones!!! |

| The nerve of that man, he came to my house too and told me he didn't have a wife and kids and played the sympathy game with me too! I don't know what on earth he is thinking flirting with women when he is married, but I definitely did not find him attractive, he looked hung over with blood shot eyes, definitely not a pastor image in my eyes. I wonder where my money has gone? Will I ever see it back? I hear he sends his children to a private Christian school, I wonder if it's Somerset college, that's like $11000 - $13000 a year! |

Look, he is a man helping himself within the community, a Pastor, a legend in his own mind, trying to profit from our good faith in human nature. He has a talent for blaming everybody else for his self inflicted disposition.
He uses his family and religion to gain sympathy and cloak his criminal activities.
He deceives everybody, including his wife by way of hitting on women that are vulnerable and an easy target in his sleazy mind.
"Let's meet for a coffee", seems to be the common denominator in all of your failed attempts Steve. Ok that's cool, but you need to understand that you can screw them for $900 BUT YOU CANNOT SCREW THEM!! |

hey just a question did scumbucket get the rest of the rebate money that we signed over to his bogus company.I know he got the $900.00 from all of us ...so I`m thinking he scored $900.00 from us $3000.00up from the government.
and when I think back to the day we met his behavior towards my wife was in hindsight he actually looked at her as a challenge and he tried all sorts of behaviors like he was a "player" or a playboy super legend.
If I was more aware I surely would have kicked his arse till next year |
