Do not fall for this add below... This company let you drive 95 to 100 miles a day, fill your tank up for $300 and they do not compensate you at all... the pay you minimum wage and Danial tell you have to work 6 days.. the worst part of this people who are applying for this job are kids college kids who want to make money but if you have to pay almost $1000 in gas plus the wear and tear on your vehicle..and your every day bills you will not make enough money...they say you have to sign at least 15 people up to be promoted to account manager and thats a lie... They say they would train you but they have no idea how to properly train someone because they never ever been in the corporate world...the dressing is atrocious.. Daniel wants you to work 6 days a week from 10:30- 8:30pm and you only get paid for 8.. They say if you get 10 confirm commission which is $60 that's $600 before tax half of is your gas what are you left with... if you tell her you cannot come in or you have plans...she said you didn't tell her...She management skill or manager is absolutely out of this world.please my child was working there for 3 weeks going to college but all his money was going into gas and he would leave at 9 and doesn't get home until after 9pm...i thought he was getting paid all that time but. nor his check was $473 after tax $327 was gas... therefore he is making $146.. i was livid...these kids are on there for 12 hours and this lady do not compensate and she fired them for little things which is illegal but i will report her to the labor board next... please run when you see this ad. | I'm happy I saw this I had an interview with them but never went back for a second interview.. Reason I was looking at how the employee dress who, the interviewee was Daniel I could not believe what she had on and she was the hiring manager. And I found out they hire everyone on a entry level and the pay is minimum... Ladies and gentle If you are coming from corporate world or from having a lucrative business do not waste your time with this... I was so piss I wasted a vacation day...why do company mislead consumer someone have to put a stop to this |

| I had an interview with Ultra Associates in tampa and they were very professional and cordial. Obviously, whoever wrote this post is very ignorant since you cannot even write properly or spell properly get a life! |

| So theres another company with pretty much this EXACT same add on career builder but its not Spartan enterprises, its called Explosive Advertising but it shares the same suite with Spartan because when I went back for my second interview I met that lady Daniel! During my 1st interview i was told to come back and be prepaerd to drive because the owner of Explosive, Melvin Jackson, said that I was going to follow one of his other associates to the store to see exactly what they do. He told me to be prepared to drive about 5 or 10 minutes. The store ended up being in clearwater which is another half an hour away from the office in tampa!!! It was a waste of gas and a waste of time because I live in Plant City so I had to drive almost an hour to get back home!!! But, if you like driving everyday to a new location and wasting your gas then be my guess and take the job (but, they pretty much hire everyone). |

| I worked at Spartan for 7 wks. Worked my butt off trying to sell people a stupid service that no one even wanted. Nonetheless, you were not compensated for your mileage nor for your gas. At first the company seemed okay but then I realized how much of a joke it was. 6 days a week barely making $350 a week without compensation for gas. Who can live off that?! Working 10am-830pm was no joy either. The manager, Danielle Matthew is very unprofessional and is a theif. After a roadtrip to Miami, Which I was not reimbursed for- ( HAD NO WHERE TO STAY UNTIL I FORCED MANAGEMENT TO PUT ME UP IN A HOTEL AFTER THE 3RD DAY I WAS THERE...) I had given her a few pillows and blankets for coworkers that were here for their own roadtrip- they had no where to stay but Danielles apartment- she failed to return them to me when politely asked multiple times. This was back in April 2011. As of yesterday, July 3, 2011, I finally cut my losses and stopped calling her for my belongings. This is how long she has been ignoring my calls/texts. For manager who claims to be making well over $150k/yr- and isnt quiet when it comes to bragging about this- again unprofessional- you'd think she would be able to buy her own pillows and blankets. |

| I'm not sure whats going on here but that was not my experience. Managment is super humble. Yes, they do speak about the income that is possible, but I mean, wouldn't you if you wanted to help your staff understand that your job can be their job? Im just sayin.I mean, why would you have stayed 7 weeks! Then bash a company if you hated management? I did my internship with this office and the most that bothered me was the drive to the location during my second interview. But I was warned ahead of time that this would take place. I went to the office and there were other interviews waiting which didn't surprise me at all since they are a Marketing Company, but if you read thier company profile, their Company has been in business for 32 years. I couldn't finish my internship because my wife went into labor early but I would have continued. And yes, its true you have to drive to a different location everyday but its just one location, and if you dont want to drive, then get a job near you. I lived in Plant City too and my drive was about 35min everyday to work, but I knew this before investing my time. I mean, it made sense to me why the second interview was set up. Its so you can gauge if your willing to do a job like this. I am sure that if this were a scam the goverment would have caught on a long time ago. Their contracts are with Best Buys and Sam's Clubs Nationwide. Not to Mention Home Depot, or DirecTV. Some people just aren't cut out for sales. |

| Same ad here in ft lauderdale area by Ultra associates. I knew of sketchy companies like this before so I knew to investigate first. The first tip that came to mind: they used a gmail address to respond to my application [email protected]. - so your a professional company, that can't even setup your company Internet services domain name. = Fail |

| I've had several interviews and work experiences with "companies" that utilize this mode of operation...its not a "scam" in the conventional sense. I must say this form of employment oppurtunity is not what the hiring company paints it to be ... It's only suitable for a extremely small percent of the populace and only a few of those will be even moderately successful. This is not for teens or young adults... It will prove counter productive in most instances. |

Thanks guys I had an interview Friday and taking a day off from work. I also thought it was wierd that they said do not talk to other people in the building sounded shady. I then recieved an interview offer from spartan and looked at there site same type of biz...I was going to ultra in Hollywood a days pay of $170.00 $20 in gas to be scamed I would have hurt someone on that day.

"WOW" I just had my first interview yesterday with a company called 'Spartan Enterprise Marketing, Inc'. with optimism I thought? I met this 'Daniel Matthew' whom you mention and she was dressed a little casual for the requested professional business attire. When I arrived for my appointment early yesterday I got a call from Nachaliz Quinonez to warn me there was no power at the office? OK, that can happens I guess... So I was supposed to return today for the 'Observation Portion' which must be the traveling to some location you describe here... guess I call and cancel this morning rather than waist a trip to Sarasota.

I worked for Spartan Enterprises in Sarasota, Fl for a little under a week. I was supposedly making $400/ week and $100 for every person I got to sign up for direct tv. I quit because the drive to Sarasota from home was too far.Especially considering I wasn't done driving once I arrived at the office. You do morning meetings every morning and that's where you find out where you are going for the day.it could be 2 miles away or 15 it varied. Anyway I worked for this company in January we are now in March and I still have yet to receive a paycheck from this company. I've contacted Danielle Mathew many times in reference to this and every time I can get her to respond because it is rare she has already put it in the mail to the address I emailed her. Coincident I still have no received one. This company is a joke, I'll be contacting the labor board today.good thing I have saved emails and phone records I guess they didn't think that far ahead. I need a job so bad, I have to pay my bills and I did not find anything else!!!
I have to go back at-least see what is about and then we will see from there...
but to be honest with you, the interview was unprofessional and not clear; I even do not know yet what will be the position!!! |
