My mother and I attended the seminars offered by Stores Online. They were so helpful at the seminars; Jace Madsen even gave us his cell phone number (801-309-9385) to call for any help. (Of course after calling with a problem we have been told to go through Customer Support.) They offered to be by our side to make our dream come true. I am disabled and my mother is about to retire so this was not something we could afford to lose. They told us we would be able to find drop shippers for any product, that we would make money (not get rich but we would be able to make sales.) Since January 19th we have spent 10-12 hours a day trying to find drop shippers for scrapbook supplies, as of today none have been found that will drop ship. They will offer wholesale prices but only with the purchase of $ 350.00 - $ 1000.00 orders. Most require a brick and mortar storefront. Stores Online hasn't helped with finding any; they don't answer emails and only suggest investing more money. We have invested almost $ 6600.00 already and haven't been able to even add a product to the web design. We really wanted this to work, we believed in Stores Online. We went into this 100%. We have our business license, sales tax license, and checking account. We did extensive research with ALL of the additional gimmicks that they sold us. Scrapbooking is listed as a HOT item on e-bay. All the numbers were wonderful. We followed the steps they told us to. Maybe they should tell everyone to find drop shippers FIRST, then spend hundreds of hours with the rest. Had we known that the promise of drop shippers was not true we could have saved ourselves a lot of time, money and headaches. I take this very personal because Jace portrayed himself and the others as Christians and that had a lot to do with us investing with Stores Online. When we couldn't get help from Stores Online "Help and Tutorials" we searched the website for help and this is how we found ripoffreport.com. We could hardly breathe, we were sick at our stomach to find so many complaints. But we did find the name and number (949-300-5233) of the owner, Donald Danks. In his reply to ripoffreport.com he stated he answered his own phone and would help ANYONE who called. Well he hasn't answered our calls or emails. He also stated only one person had contacted him and he had resolved that issue. Well, it is now obvious that others have contacted him with no results. PLEASE if anyone is considering investing with Stores Online make sure you can afford to lose that investment of $ 6600.00. First check other sites and you will find that you can get a site, have it personally built for you, have updates of products done automatically, for as little as $ 395.00. Below I have listed our letter to Mr. Danks, Jace Madsen, Devin Mills and Customer Support. To all the above recipients, It is after a great deal of thought and hard work that my mother and I are requesting a refund of the
$ 6298.00 spent as an investment with Stores Online. We have worked 10-12 hours a day searching, emailing, investigating and speaking with manufactures, distributors, Internet merchants, and individual stores to try and find drop shippers that would offer wholesale prices and drop shipping. As each of you know we have tried to contact you via phone and emails to try and get your assistance with drop shippers. As of today we have either had no contact or been told to purchase additional programs, which would offer drop shippers. After much frustration we did research the programs suggested. Wholesale Marketer (by Jace), Which he thought was 3.95 a month and is actually 29.95 a month, but even here they have very, few scrap booking products. Definitely not enough to re-coup any investment paid. Tyler @ 800-427-9147 suggested http://emserve.com/, which had nothing to do with scrap booking products and was also and additional cost. Mr. Danks you never returned my call. Mr. Mills after 3 emails I give up on you even responding to your emails, your customer support offered no suggestions that were not additional costs also, even when calling about the web site, I have been trying to design, several questions I asked for assistance on, I was told to let stores online build it for me instead of getting assistance because they did not have tutorials or offer assistance on this. We are very disappointed and actually quite sad, because we did enjoy meeting so many of you and absolutely believed in you. You took our dreams and gave us hope! We both realize that your offer was NOT to do the work for us, but we were told that we could find drop shippers for any product. We really admired the fact that the employees presented themselves as Christians and seemed more than eager to help us accomplish our dream. As of today my mother has initiated a dispute with her credit card company to request a refund. We hope that you will work with us on this. We are truly sorry this did not work out. But because of the many, many hours already invested and the lack of support we have decided it is in the best interest of all if we dissolve this working relationship.
