I found this company on Career Builder and it sounded great, wow was I ever fooled...! I called and they set me up for a 8 hour online training the next day. It was rather a easy but fast paced training. I was given a "Team Leader" by the name of Ted Smith ~ Team #21. He sounded like a real nice, down to earth good ole boy from Texas. He gave me several appointments for the day and I hit the road and had a nice sale my first day and the same my 2nd day so i was pretty excited until... a three day dry spell and going to appointments that were supposed to have been set by the company and the poeple had shown a great deal of intrest in the services offered. It turned out to be nothing like that at all. I would arrive at my appointments and 8 out of 10 would say the same thing, who are you with and why are you here? I would then try to explaine our program and how it worked and they always stop me and say I'm not interested. Ted them wanted me to call him and let him try to talk to the client. I have been in sales for 25 years and I do not need someone to hold my hand and try to finish a sale for me. Now to the good part... "Getting paid" Another joke. My first check was for $75 on some comdata card that I had never heard of. It was supposed to be a direct deposit but they lost my banking info. My 2nd check was pretty nice, over $1000 then the checks just stopped but my selling continued... I called Ted and asked why and he is the master of excusses! He would say oh, it will be there tomorrow so I waited. When I called him the next day I would always check my online banking and the money was not there again and he would say the same thing again. This went on for almost 3 weeks but I continued to go on my appointments as well as calling on businesses by myself aka "self gen's" that was supposed to pay and additional commission but it did not. I did receive a small check after about 3 weeks for $208. It should have been over $1000 but was not and Ted told me he made a commission error and would have it corrected and it would be on next weeks check. There was no check the next week or the following week. After really telling Ted how I felt he said that he would talk to payroll and see if I could get an advance... Why should i get an advance on something I sold and earned the money on? It took 5 days to get an answer back and he finally said I got you and advance of $550 and it will be in your account on Friday. I recorded the conversation to have as back up. Friday came but a deposit did not...! I told him that if I did not get a check ASAP I was not going to work until I did. Well a week passed and I was told I would have a deposit of $275... What happened to the $550?? He said he never said that. Remember I have it recorded... I never received the $275 either so I decided to leave the company. What the stupid idiots do not realize is that I continued to sale and I have 6 applications ready to be processed but since they decided not to pay me I am turning them into another company that does the same thing that I am now working for. I am also going back to every single company I sold to while at Summit and make them aware of what a scam / ripoff these companies are and will do my best to cancel everything they signed up for. I have also contacted an attorney in the Dallas TX area and am working on a law suite against them. They have 8 unresolved complaints with the BBB in the past year from people that have used their services and their raiting is a B- and I was shocked to see it that good. There are also a ton of people that have worked for them that have posted bad things on ripoff report.com just like I am doing. I have also made Career Builder, Jobs.com and several other websited that have their job postings listed know what a scam these poeple are. My goal is to tarnish their name so band they would have to close. When they chose me to screw with, they chose the wrong person....!
