SuperShuttle Failure to make scheduled pickup from hotel to airport Houston, Texas

I reserved round-trip transportation for my trip to Houston. Unfortunately, for my return trip to the airport, the van never showed up. I contacted customer service and was on the phone for over an hour while the customer service rep was allegedly locating the van, locating the local dispatcher, locating a supervisor. I resorted to taking a private cab only to miss my flight. The customer service rep's blatant refusal to cure this situation was solidified by her statement of "I don't know what to tell you." I missed my flight, I'm stuck in the airport for the night, I'm getting home a day late, I'm flying standby and I'm missing client meeting.

Very disappointed, I had paid in advance for round trip with Supershuttle. Received a text for return ride the day with time of pick up and to be ready. Called that morning to confirm, was told to call once I got through customs at the Galveston port. Called, got automated message stating transportation was in route, spoke with someone to confirm. At scheduled pick up time, no van arrived, called and was told I should have called after I got through customs, which I explained that I did and was told that no van would be available for 45 minutes despite the fact that there was 10 of us and I had been told there would be a van available for the 10 of us when I scheduled it. I was also advised "to seek alternate transportation" after I had already paid. Had to argue with the staff person for sometime before they finally got a van to us. Poor customer service, could have missed our flight. Will not use again nor will I recommend Supershuttle to anyone. I made a complaint online with Supershuttle, got a message stating someone would get back to me concerning my complaint. NEVER HEARD FROM ANYONE!!!
