Swift moving company arrived to move my belongings they were doing a good job as I had used them before. Since we had an previous encounter and I had also recommended work to Luis I felt that he was trust worthy. When his worker then being lazy or inept proceeded to push a box into my bike. The bike went crashing to the ground ( I began to scream in horror) oil began to pour out all over the garage. When we got the bike up the body was dented and scratched up, tail light was broken, handlbar was bent, oil pan was broken, and rearview mirror was sctrached. Luis (the owner) was there and witnessed the whole thing. We then went into the office where Luis signed a promissory note to pay for all expenses accrued for the repair of the bike. Trying to be nice I tried to save Luis money by letting a friend take a look and see if the oil pan could be patched. It couldn't and had to taken to the repair shop. During this time I am keeping in constant contact with Luis and telling him the condition and the cost just to have the bike inspected at the repair shop. It cost me $247.78 just for the oil pan. I had to pay for it in order to get my bike back since Luis never showed with any money. The remaining balance is $1814.19 for the remaining damage. Luis then began ignoring me all together. Finally I got him to reply on Aug 12th via txt msg (which I still have). He txt'd and I quote "I don't have the money at the moment, I just dropped alot of money on redtape for this contract. But once this contract kicks in i should be making 3 times this amount". I offered to accept payments to no responce. Next txt on Aug 18th I got a promise to pay the $247 the upcoming Mon or Tues but it never came. Next contact Sept 25th He txt'd that he was bankrupt and had to sell his business and he was disappointed. But yet here today he is still running CL ads and is business is still fuctional and posting on FB. Yes I was stupid for paying him for his services and believeing that he had integrity in his business. But all I ever wanted was what was do me nothing more. He gives small businesses a bad name. Shame on you Luis!!!
