Damen Marin promised a "move out" clean for our rental house that we were moving out of. The cleaning was to cost $169.00 and Kelly would be the one that cleaned the entire house top to bottom. Well I guess the Kitchen countertops, sink, cabinets, behind the stove are not considered to be part of the kitchen, because she didn't do any of that area. The patio door was not cleaned, no baseboards or door jambs were wiped down, and God only knows what the hell she used on the wood floors, they have a strange film on them.
This was all on Thursday 12/23/10. I paid him in full, against my better judgement in the form of a cashier's check for the entire $169.00. He left Kelly to do her job. He was running late for an appointment. He was rude and actually tried to bully me... which didn't work. My husband and I left and ran errands, when we returned we inspected the house, to find the areas mentioned above.. not even touched.. not even half a**ed .. nothing!
I called Damen on Friday 12/24/10, and he told me that he would send Kelly back to the house when she was done in Boulder. No call.. No Kelly.. for hours and hours. I called Damen at about 3:30pm to find out where she was and what time she would be there... I was given excuse #1... she was in Boulder, not finished with the job and since it was Christmas eve, he would have her come out on Sunday. I would get a call at 10:00 am on Sunday.. Well surprise.. NO CALL!!! I tried several times on Sunday to reach Damen, will no success.
Now here we are on Monday 12/27/10 and I have tried for the last few hours to reach him via phone, which when I call from my regular house phone, someone is picking up and hanging up on the other end. When I block my number or call from my cell, it goes to his recording and of course his mailbox is full... All I want is for the services to be completed. If I wanted to clean the house myself, I would have never hired his company to do it. I also stated to Damen that I needed a reciept showing that I paid for a company to clean the house.. which I was told I could get... How the hell can I get anything if he is too chicken sh*t to answer his phone?
Why hang up on me? You guilty of something? I guess I should not have been in such a hurry and should have read more on your company, because it seems you are quite the scam artist. I have no choice but to make a trip to Fort Collins and appear in your office, which I might add.. I have found 3 different addresses for!!! Looks a bit suspicious to me!!! I will find you.. I will get either my money back for your terrible work, or you will clean the house right! I have also filed with the BBB about this.. so expect to see something from them as well.
You cannot do this Damen, but since you did, I would seriously watch out.. Because KARMA will get you!!!
