Teavana We paid for 3 day shipping. It will arrive after 7...not in time for our daughter for Christmas Stratford, Connecticut

Our daughter wanted Teavana's teamaker for Christmas. We ordered it with plenty of time for delivery (12/19). In tracking our order, since it hadn't arrived yet, we found it wouldn't be delivered until Dec. 28. Here is the copy of the letter I wrote: To Whom it may concern, As you can see, our order for your tea set (for our daughter), was processed and began spipment on the 19th of December. The delivery we paid for was for 3 days. In checking the tracking number through UPS, we found out it won't be delivered until December 28th. This is unacceptable. I'm sure you'll blame UPS, but the fact remains, the buck stops with you and if you don't have a reliable shipper, it only hurts your business. Our order is small and only a little over $20, but every dollar counts...right? Additionally, you phone message box was full, which leads me to believe ours is not an isolated incident Our daughter, specifically wanted items from your company and we'll show her where her Christmas gift is via the UPS tracker. Rest assured, that the Greens and any other people who we may have sent to your website for tea and/or accessories will NOT be shopping at Teavana. We will be using our voice and making sure others know about this via

I am having the same exact problem with the company. I went into one of their stores for a matcha tea set and they didn't have any in stock but the woman who was helping me (who was also the store manager) assured me that if she ordered it that it would be delivered by xmas. Since I was placing the order on the 16th and she assured me several times that it would be delivered on time (I quote "we've got PLENTY of time!") I paid for it and trusted it would come. It still has not arrived and my order was over $75. I am a school teacher and this was my husband's main gift this christmas. The kicker is: we got married in October, this was our first christmas together. Because of the company, my husband got to open a book and a t-shirt on christmas because the gift from teavana was his extravagant gift. I'm pissed. I called the store on christmas eve asking if there was anyone I could talk to about getting the gift that day and they gave me the number to customer service. When I called, they were not working that day and the mailbox was full (just like you experienced). So really all they did there was just make me more livid. I just called customer service (again) and I was 127th in line to talk to a person. So I'm also guessing that we are not the only ones with this problem. I am going to demand a refund and also be vocal about the terrible service for such high priced products.

The Teavana shipping process is pathetic. They defaulted back to an address that was three years out of date (apparently I had ordered something from the store long ago that I don't even remember) and shipped it there. I sent several emails to customer service and never got a response other than an automated assurance that they would respond within 48 hours. I finally called and waited over an hour on hold. They changed the address and rerouted the shipment. That added an extra week to the shipping time, but it did finally get to me.

During this process, the helpful rep signed me up for repeat shipments - TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. I had to call my credit card company to get them to stop repeatedly charging my card.

If you want to buy tea from Teavana, then do it in the store and pay cash.
