Working for texas auto started out to be a great thing, until reality hits. We're told that we are the second largest ebay dealer nationwide, that we have 100 percent customer satisfaction rating thru ebay. Also that are cars are not painted never smoked and that's how we buy them. not all that is actually true, yet texas auto does have a lot of nice clean clean cars. This is why I call them liars and just plano crooks. The pay plan at texas auto is 20 percent commission, and only 1000 dollar pack. This isn't true at all, for example. My customer put down a 500 dollar deposit for s 550 amg mercedes benz. After waiting a week my customer wanted his money back. So I went to the manager of course and then of course they told me he could not have his money back because he left a deposit, yet we promised him that the car would be there within a week. Then our internet manager todd price comes out and says no the car is here. Then shows us how the car has been in service for the last 4 days over 3000 dollars worth of service. what is so amazing is that this car still hasn't arrived from the auction yet. after my customer realize that we have lyied about the amount of the car and about the service it showed we did because the car was still in transit. Now course he doesn't trust texas auto or myself, but he did get his money back. Because we looked really stupid at that point. Anyway this really caught my attention because we are paid off commission, so I go match those service tickets verses the service ticket in back in the service department. welders 9 because the car is never arrived. they are stealing because they are stealing from your commission by lying about the gross, every car sold they have anywhere between 2 and 3 if not more 1000 dollar marked up in these cars. And I cked on three difrent deals and the service tickets in service department have only minor things done. Its a huge scam , so beware before you go work there unless yours manager, cuz they get paid from the real gross. A half way decent accounting person could exposes the fraud. They say they take care of their employees, and they do exactly the way they treat the customers. That's why they call myers steve quotes

I went to Texas Auto Online after I was approved by GMC. I wanted to make sure I was getting the best deal I could. The salesman Chuck was very interested in my business and I test drove several SUV's to see if I would like them better than the one I was already approved for at the other dealership. At the end of the day, I found one I liked and was told that the financing was approved for what I was willing to pay and was told the interest rate, payment amount and total price. I agreed and took the other vechicle back to GMC and told them I had found a better deal. I was to come back the next day to sign the paperwork. Chuck called and told me not to come in, that he was trying to get an even better deal than the original and it wouldn't be until the next day that we would know what the answer was, not to worry though because the original deal was approved. His words exactly were "It's a done deal". I went in the following day to sign paperwork and was informed that I would have to pay a significally higher monthly payment than original payment or pay an outrageously high down payment..Neither of which I was willing to do..Remember the done deal, I already knew what my down payment was( I even wrote the check and gave to them), the interest rate and total price. When I asked what happened they really couldn't explain. I never got a "I'm Sorry or anything" Now I am out of 2 vehicles and don't really want my credit run again through another dealer. I felt like they just wanted to make my lose the first truck so they could force me into buying one of thiers at the higher price with the higher interest rate. I will never go there again and will warn anyone who is looking for a car to stay away as well.
