|Had a screamer pipe for my car welded up, first quote was 200, which is over priced still, and upon completion was charged 340. for a 1 foot pipe welding to a flange. The welding was poor quality, braces were not used. Also had an exhaust quote done, that was 400 dollars, and turned into 680 dollars. when NOTHING has changed on it, I saw the original price of material, his cost, and what he was charging me, and he claims he is not making a cent. He will overcharge for using scrap metal pieces to build or repair what ever it is your having him do as well. Warning that he welds trailers and boats, and other various parts for cars, should not be trusted, or your first choice He bills you, doesn't calculate anything right, makes up his own parts and labor costs for stuff that was never done, and threatens to sue if you do not pay, regardless if you sign a work order or not. He is unethical, He will charge you shipping on all parts to his company, even if its a mass order for other customers. And his hourly rate changes on a day to day basis.|
