TreeJob.com Work not Complete and failure to remedy. Marietta, Georgia
10th of Sep, 2011 by User681786
On August 10, 2011 I met with Service Representative and entered into a $550.00 contract with company to do trimming on two of my trees. Services were to included all trimming identified when I met with representative based on "green ribbons" placed on the trees, along with hauling away of all debris. August 15, 2011 was the day I believe your workers did the trimming. That evening I contacted representative to let him know the workers had not done all the trimming we had contracted to have done, and that I'd like to meet with him to show him what wasn't done so it could be completed. On August 17, 2011 met with representative and showed him the three things that had not been done which we had contracted to have trimmed. He agreed and said he would contact the appropriate persons at TreeJob and get it taken care of. He expected it would be done in the next 24-48 hours. UNFORTUNATELY I trusted the company, and because I knew representative had made a special trip back out to meet with me on the "17th", I gave him a check for the full amount of our contract ($550.00); even though the remaining trimming hadn't been done and the debris hadn't been picked up. Both the representative and the company seemed to be on the "up and up" to me and I gave the check, even though now I regret it as they haven't done what was contracted to do. On August 22, 2011 after giving your company 5 full days to complete the task I contacted representative again to make sure he knew the job had not been completed (although by then the debris had been picked up). He got back with me to let me know your company was preparing to head to the area of the hurricane to do work there as needed. I made it clear to him at that time that I didn't find his answer acceptable since I had paid TreeJob for the project to be complete and I expected it to be done. I also reminded representative that of the three things that needed finished it probably amounted to about 20-30 minutes of work once the workers were on site. Representative contacted me back about 20 minutes later to inform me he had spoken to someone who I'm guessing was his boss and they had told him someone would be by in the next couple days prior to the crew leaving for the hurricane site to finish our job. September 11, 2011 and the work TreeJob contracted with me to complete AND for which TreeJob was paid in full has still not been completed. I am very dissatisfied with the way TreeJob.com works when they enter into a contract with a customer. I am concerned if thy use the same business practices with those who had storm damage; it could be one more bad experience for the poor people who have suffered so much. Hopefully they'll be able to avoid doing business with this company.
