I needed to make a last minute reservation for one night only near the Atlanta airport. The need was caused by late flights out of the Philippines. It was almost midnight 03-28-2011. I went online to look for hotels in that area and found a site and searched for hotels. I made a reservation at this site because it said by selecting a certain category the reservation could be changed with no charge or cancel fee. Since this reservation was only going to be needed if the connecting flight was made in Seoul, I felt this would be the perfect option. I got my confirming email at 12:05 03-29-11. I then found that I didn't need the reservation so I cancelled it and 03-29-11 12:55:17 am I received an email about my cancellation. A cancellation number was not available from the property at this time. A reservation agent will send you your cancellation number as soon as the property provides it. We understand that sometimes plans fall through. We do not charge a change or cancel fee. However, this property (Hyatt Place Atlanta Airport-South) imposes the following penalty to its customers that we are required to pass on: Cancellations or changes made after 4:00 PM ((GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)) on Mar 28, 2011 are subject to a 1 Night Room & Tax penalty. Now pray tell how could I cancel or change a reservation before it was made? my credit card was charged for the full amount by TSP Travel DO NOT USE THESE COMPANIES INVOLVED WHAT EVER THEIR NAME MAY BE.

I made a reservation on 16 Jun 11 for a government traveler through Comfort Suites hotel, 949 Sunland Drive in El Paso, TX and used the traveler's credit card to hold the room. I then called the hotel to cancel the reservation the same day unaware that 993.70 was automatically charged on the card. I was told that the traveler would get a refund which usually takes five to ten business days. As of today, 27 Jul 11, no refund was issued and the charge remains on his card. I spoke to the general manager at Comfort Suites and was told that no charges appear on their side because the reservation was made through a third party. I was given a confirmation for Expedia (250874612) and a phone number. I tried contacting them but to no avail. This needs to get resolved IMMEDIATELY as the traveler will be going on TDY soon and cannot have any outstanding credit card issues.

TSP completely misrepresented themselves. I asked for the conference rate for my reservation and they charged me much more, charged in full, and in trying to cancel it, I get nothing but a runaround. I haven't received a receipt, so I can't be refunded by my workplace. Complete crooks, and they go out under the Expedia name!

I made a reservation in Heber, Ut at Holiday Inn thru Travelscape, LLC. Canceled three days before being there as my wife's surgery had been rescheduled. I received confirmation of the cancelation as well as a cancel number. These people are the biggest crooks that I have ever encountered. The bill shows up on my credit card so I call the number shown and reach some jerk in Manila, Philippines!! The run around was unreal and basically they told me no refund was available. I am retired and trying to live on social security (another bad joke) and these crooks want blood out of me while I am trying to scratch together enough money for this surgery for my wife. I also checked with Better Business Bureau and these companies are not accredited so BBB cannot help! These crooks need to be put out of business permanently. When I goggled Holiday Inn this Travelscape, LLC inserted itself, I guess I just assumed that was how Holiday Inn did business. I am no longer using Holiday Inn "Guilty by Association."

TSP travel is a company that will steal your Money! I had made reservations for my 30 year high school reunion. In Long Beach, Calif. Three days before the event I received an e-mail to conform my reservations. Their link asks if you would like to view your reservations or cancel. I wanted to view my reservations. To my surprise my reservations were automatically canceled. I called there 800 number, guess It was in the Philippines. Their NO CUSTOMER HELP reprehensive informed me that they were not able to help me out because the reservation was canceled. NO refund, sorry.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The Double Tree Hotel chain is also guilty.

That is the result of you not looking at the website when you book or call for your reservation. The next time you call to book or book online you should be aware of what website you are in to avoid confusion and to avoid those things to happen again. You could easily get the direct phone number of the hotel when you Google it! Don't tell me you don't know how to use Google???

I recently booked a hotel for 3 nights in Florence using Yeego (booking agent Travelscape). Since it is supposed to be an affiliate of Expedia I thought all was ok. To double check I sent an email to the hotel to ask if they had my reservation...answer no. The invoice I received from Yeego.com had an address in Gibraltar. I then received a booking confirmation listing reservation agent as Travelscape LLC in Las VegasNV USA. I tried calling them but went round & around with an automated menu..no live person. Then I called Expedia they didn't show any booking but said I had to call Travelscape & again run around with automated menu.Next day I received an email from Travelscape don't worry I have a confirmed booking blah blah that the hotel doesn't receive the client list of names until 3-4 days before check in!! I emailed the hotel again to ask if this was true...of course NOT. Then I got an email from Travelscape to say my booking had been CANCELLED & that my credit card had been fully refunded & it could take up to 48 hours to show in my account. They claimed the booking had been made at another hotel in error.I checked with Visa & they said they actually have up to 15 days to return money. I am already anticipating having to call the Visa fraud department to get these funds returned. I'm just trying to expose these crooks for what they are CROOKS.

Cautionary tale here. I learned the hard way: I Googled Radisson Hotels and got A RESERVATION NUMBER (first mistake, didn't look closely at the website). The agent said that the Radisson at the location I wanted was completely booked, and did I want a reservation at a second near-by hotel? I was surprised they could do that, but DIDN'T QUESTION (second mistake), and agreed. Agent said it was a non-refundable reservation, but I thought I had no choice (third mistake), so agreed.

My credit card was charged in full immediately. Next day I found out my preferred hotel DID have availability. So I looked at my reservation email, and called the number (what's this? NOT the Radisson, some company named Travelscape on the bottom of the email. Though the email came from something called Travelnow). I called 1-800-394-1454 from the email. It was an endless loop of prerecorded information, so I went on their website, and entered my itinerary number, which their website did not recognize! I called the 800 number again, and bypassed the prerecorded info by ignoring the warning that agents can only schedule new reservations, not cancel or address old ones. I got a real person on the line, who at first I thought was going to be my savior!

Through him I made a second reservation with my preferred hotel, based on his assurance he could get my first reservation cancelled and REFUNDED (fourth mistake, believing him). NOT TRUE. After TWO HOURS on the phone being tranferred and put on hold (with other agents, a supervisor and someone who seemed to have just wandered into the call center), they still would not refund my money from the first reservation.

Then one person who talked to me insisted I must have 2 credit cards, as they couldn't see part of my second reservation. I lost it then and really yelled. I only have one credit card. Turns out? The "savior" agent had called the hotel and booked part of my reservation directly and since Radisson uses a different type of confirmation number, no-one at Travelscape could track it. No-one at Travelscape believed it had been made. You're kidding me, right? I have so much time to burn making up fake reservation numbers? I spent more time as I kept checking my bank account and email, and I finally found the mystery confirmation email to PROVE someone had booked me!

Finally, I got the second reservation cancelled, and am stuck with the first one. When the last person I talked to at Travelscape asked if there was anything else she could do I said, "Um, apologize?" and in the most irritated voice she said, "Sorry." Which I am too. That I'd ever used them. If it hadn't involved money and precious time wasted, it would have been funny--I kept flashing on Comedy Central. As it was I still have a crick in my neck and a sore throat from the stress, plus I'm staying in a hotel I don't want to stay in.

I hope you learn from my mistakes and PAY ATTENTION TO WHO YOU CALL for a reservation!
