HAVE USED TURBO-TAX FOR SEVERAL YEARS. I DIDN'T HAVE A COMPLICATED RETURN UP TO 2010. NEEDLESS TO SAY IN 2010 I HAD INVESTMENTS(CD'S) MATURING. USING TURBO-TAX SOFTWARE, I FOLLOWED ALL THE NECESSARY INSTRUCTIONS. HOWEVER, TURBO-TAX PROGRAM WAS NOT PROGRAMMED APPARENTLY TO PICK UP THE MATURED CD'S AS A DEFERRED INVESTMENT. SEVERAL MONTHS LATER I WAS SHOCKED TO RECEIVE A BILL FROM THE IRS FOR AN ADDITIONAL $8000 TAX. TRYING TO GET TURBO-TAX TO RESPONDED WAS NOTHING BUT A JOKE. SPENT HOURS TRYING TO FIND A GOOD PHONE NUMBER THEIR "GUARANTEE ACCURACY" STATEMENT WAS NOTHING BUT A FRAUD. DEADLINE FOR RESPONDING TO THE IRS WAS GETTING CLOSER AND CLOSER, SO I CONTACTED THE IRS AND WAS TOLD WHAT WAS NEED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. I SUBMITTED TO THE IRS THESE ITEMS, AS REQUESTED, ALONG WITH AN ADDITIONAL $500,,,,,,,,,,,PROBLEM SOLVED! NEVER, NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE TURBO-TAX OR ITS BUNCH OF INCOMPETENT SERVICE(?) PERSONAL. INCIDENTALLY, THE WEBSITE REFERS YOU TO A DO NOTHING PAGE WITH A LOT OF USELESS MATERIAL, NO HELP AFTER YOU FILE YOUR TAXES.
