Hey.I dont know who you are but you are obviously misinformed. They allowed me to browse any catalogue I wanted to.I joined.I did as they said and went to a store and got model numbers for 3 rooms of furniture and came back to uniway and ordered it and saved $4200 and i have never been happier. Its unfortunate that everyone cant afford the fee to join and more unfortunate that everyone cant comprehend such an amazing concept. They have been there 40 years and not many companies can boast that longevity.Keep giving your money away to retail stores if you want to but please stop lying on companies that you arent a member of...Very Satisfied Customer for over 20 Years!!! |

I recently visited this scam of a company. Some sleezy sales guy started it off calling me asking if I recieved a key in the mail and that they would set up a time for me to come in and try my key to see if I had won a free homemake over. I guess I should of followed that still quiet voice that it was to good to be true. Well I wasted gas and about 3 hours of my time going and coming. First off when I get there I have to fill out some survey to see what my interests are. After this it is explained that it is "an exclusive club" I guess to try and make me feel special. So he takes me to the "showroom" to show me all of the "great" products they can get me at up to 50% off retail price. In the midst of all of this, this fast talking shyster starts throwing around the bible as in attempt to sound "spiritual" and influence my decision. This guy is all over the place talking about his personal life (his separation from his wife) and what not and how he has a sermon he wants to put on cd. All a bunch of tricks to try and befriend me enough to sign up. Long story short he shows me the contract and sign up fee. I ask to try the key which was THE REASON I CAME DOWN TO BEGIN WITH. So he finally takes me to try it and to my surprise... It doesn't work! lol. Anyways no matter I just want to get home. He takes me into the office almost pleading his case why I should sign up. Ah this takes me back to the family saver days and how those scammers got me for a few grand. So at this point I decline and have the pen in my hand ready to sign that I decline. Then this little prick starts to belittle my intelligence and call me ignorant. It took a lot for me to hold my peace because I was ready knock the white off his face. So when this is finally over i'm walking out and this little man makes a smart remark about going back to family saver. I do however remember his saying he was a member of Right Direction Christian Center. I'm sure I will run into him over there if he shows up and we'll see if he's still feeling mouthy. My complaint isn't necessarily about the service but more about the overly pushy tactics used to manipulate people into signing a $4000 contract. |
