Heard an ad on the radio for $300 in free fuel. When I called, I had o subscribe to some free trials for various products and pay a shipping fee for the gas card. Was informed that as long as I cancelled the free trials within 14 days of receipt, I would not be charged. Also, I would receive the GAS card within 3-5 business days and could use IT immediately to purchase fuel. Not the case at all. They started billing me within several days for the products and when I rec'd the card, it was a paper card. I have to fill out this card, send by certified mail, then when they send my preferred gasoline vendor list, I can purchase fuel and receive $25 rebates per $100 worth of fuel and I cannot exceed $250 of total purchases per month! Another scam and scam! The people that should be held responsible are the magazine companies and other free trial companies. They are the ones that start billing you! When I called to cancel the subscriptions, I told each company (Buyers Edge, My Advisor, Leisure Plus, Savings to go, etc) that they were misleading people and all they offered was an "I;m sorry and we will refund your account in 7-10 business days!
