If you read the rest of the complaints you will know by now that this is nothing but a big pain in the %#*. Like so many before, my wife & i sat through the vacation speel for the FREE gifts? Declining purchase of Legacy Travel Club's presentation at a substantial cost. Lured on by a 7 night cruise on Carnival & 2 round trip airfare tickets to anywhere in USA. I guess i'm not as smart as i thought for TRYING to go through with the monumental procedures & restrictions that applied to the vouchers. Certified mail, 21 days, $99 deposit for cruise & $75 for airline tickets only to validate the certificate, STEP 1. STEP 2 envolves, like others, filling out your vacation planning form with more terms & conditions. The title on the cruise vacation planning form is "YOUR PASSAGE TO FUN". Believe me it is anything but fun. Me thinks that their office is filled with masacists. You are required to give them 60 days advance notice & 45 days between your first & second date choice for vacation. STEP 3 envolves waiting & waiting & waiting for a response back concerning your available dates. The response timeline they give you is: 45-60 days prior to your requested date for the cruise and 30 days for the airline voucher. I did receive a response back in their alloted timeframe concerning the cruise which stated; "unfortunately we are unable to find availability within our allotment for the first date you requested of 9/11/11, we will move on to your second request date of 10/30/11. Well it is now 10/12/11 & have not heard a word. Concerning the airline tickets, my first travel date was 9/10/11, never heard a word about confirmation & wasn't overly concerned since the cruise date fell through, but they were supposed to let me know one way or another. Also the second travel date which is 10/29/11 is past their window of notice at this time. Tried to call today to find out what is going on numerous times, just to get a constant busy signal. After reading all of the other complaints, unless this company comes under a class action lawsuit, which i hope it does, i feel that i might have to chalk this up as a learning experience, although i am old enough to know better. SCAM (Serious Caution Against Marketers). That's how i see it. I hope that this helps someother unsuspecting consumer against to good to be true, something for nothing bull****.
