I received a call, both on my cellular phone, and at my place of employment from a man by the name of David Fisher, he later said his name was Anthony White. He had a heavy Middle Eastern Accent and claimed to be an attorney for Watkins & Associates representing Cash Advance USA, an online payday loan corporation. He said I owed a total amount of 627.51 and that I was being charged with several crimes and facing jail time and that my only option was to settle out of court. When I questioned this he told me he was going to file an additional charge of defamation of character. He also said he would issue a warrant to have me arrested and would be left i jail for 90 days and that no attorney could assist me or bail me out. When I said I suspected fraud and was going to call the FBI, he became irate and began cursing loudly. I did call the FBI office in St. Louis and the agent confirmed my thought that this was a scam.
