|Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in K.C MO Placing me into foreclosure after I did not accept a modification plan 9 months later; from the time I applied...

|My name is Charise and I was a proud homeowner 5 years ago, when I was approved for my home loan. Now, after dealing with Wells Fargo I feel as if I was taken advantage of. It started with finding out that Wells Fargo provided me a Home Inspections with people they hired for me and I paid for, stating that my home was in good condition. But 6 months later after signing off on it, the ceiling started leaking and gotten worst. Then in June 2010 I found myself in foreclosure proceedings after losing my JOB, and was told to apply for a modification at that time. After doing so I never got a response back in regards, so I started making payment arrangements myself to bring both loans current in December of 2010. At that time payment arrangements were setup and as I stated by January 2011 I brought one loan current with payment arrangements to bring other loan current. But in Jan. 2011 I received a call from Wells Fargo mentioning the modification and I at that time told them that I have already taken things in my own hands and is in the process of bringing loans current as shown already. Three days after the call I received a statement from Wells Fargo stating that my home was in foreclosure. So when I called the company to question the letter, I was told that I needed to cancel all payments arrangements and that they will no longer be able to accept any payments while in foreclosure. I was upset! So, while trying to understand what had just taken place applied for assistance with NACA home save program. But the problem is; I now owe more money now then before. NACA recently requested a forbearance and while waiting 4 months I finally was approved by Wells Fargo. The proposal stated that I have 3 months to get decrease expenses or increase income. No action as far as payments needed. Now, that was given to me on 4/25/2011 but, than I received a statement for payment to be made on 4/29/2011 by Wells Fargo on 4/30/2011. After notifying NACA I was sent another letter stating that my payment is more then the original agreement that they wanted me to agree upon on 4/25/2011. NACA stated that they don't know what Wells Fargo Mortgage is trying to do, but they are not looking at their own proposal that was sent. They are informing me that if I don't make that payment mentioned that I will go back into foreclosure. Wells Fargo is a complete scam and I wish it was more the people could do to get some of our money back ! Now, when I thought everything was going okay, Wells Fargo knows how to ruin your day!
|I am so sorry, Wells Fargo is terrible, are liars, we lost our home which went from being worth $360K to $220K, they never had any intention of a mortgage modification, they were only scamming us. We walked away and I am glad we did now, the house had structural problems so we could not short sale, that is another story in itself, naturally a few days before the "auction date" they sent us a letter that gosh they may have made a mistake and that we may have been able to get a modification. Yeah right. Good luck to you, personally I would tell them where to stick your house. The government and banks have no intention of trying to help buyers in distress. Personally I would not trust a word they say. Again I feel your pain, I lost my whole life savings I had put into the house.
June 12, 2010 I had the opportunity to go to the event that Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and NACA held in Atlanta Georgia and I received a solution, but the confirmation was unsuccessful. They would not confirm what my new monthly payment plan was; however, I sent again all the information that they requested to me to get the modification. Unfortunately I have never received any information whether the appeal was approved or not. End of July 2010, I contacted WFHM to let them know once again that they had lied to me according to the second modification, I told them that they could proceed with the auction process. The web site that NACA provided me said that the auction was announced on August 03, 2010 at 11:00 am. This auction has never been stop, this still going on. I will corroborate that I do not live at the house since at the end of July, 2010. Actually, my financial situation has changed dramatically since I only count with my own income. Unexpectedly, on September 03, 2010 WFHM called me to do my mortgage payment because my payment was due for the month of September. I corroborate with WFHM that they have never sent me any correspondence that my modification was approved. September 15, 2010 received call from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage (WFHM) to request personal financial information. WFHM representative explained that this was needed in order to have updated financial records to qualify me for a loan modification. The call was cut short after the WFHM representative attempted to transfer me to the litigation department. No one answered me upon transfer. No clarification was obtained as to any loan modification arrangement or intent of the WFHM representative phone call. A WFHM interpreter was used to help with the language barrier. September 20, 2010. I contacted WFHM to get clarity about a letter they send me on September 03, 2010. The letter that WFHM send me says, that in order for them to get started they need additional information to determine what option is best suited for my situation, also WFHM need gather all financial information related to my monthly income and expenses. WFHM provided me a phone number for future questions; nevertheless, when I contact WFHM a representative tells me that the amendment is already finished, and all that I need to do is to catch up September''s payment to avoid a foreclosure, or otherwise if I do not agree to make the payment, they will send me a letter to sign the ownership to WFHM. Please. I need to take to achieve an affordable solution. I need advocate for a Restructure Solution. Since my records show that my file has been submitted to my lender/service but does not show a finalized solution with my Service. Why doesn't Wells Fargo Home Mortgage talk clearly?
Wednesday, September 15, 2010 The Honorable David Price 2162 Rayburn House Office Building Washington, DC 20515 Dear Congressman David Price: I am writing to explain my antagonistic mortgage situation and request your support. On March 2009, I contacted WELLS FARGO HOME MORTGAGE (WFHM) to explain my hard financial situation, and request assistance for a loan modification. On the same year 2009, I also mentioned WFHM that I had a second mortgage, that acquired an equity loan with DUKE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION for a debit consolidation. On June 2009, WFHM approved me for a temporary arrangement payment plan starting in June thru September 2009. Unfortunately the terms of the payment was not fully and clearly explained to me, that at the end of the payment arrangement plan I needed to pay off the whole entire deficit; consequently, I received a rejection letter for a loan modification from the bank, due to insufficient income and due payments after that letter I started receiving collection letters from WFHM. Since, October 2009, I obtained assistance with CONSUMER CREDIT COUNSELING SERVICE in order to appeal Wells Fargo''s rejection of the loan modification request, without any success, WFHM declined this request again. Then I get in contacted with NACA on December 2009 to assist me with my modification, because WFHM already begun to send me warning letters for an impending foreclosure. All the information that WFHM required me to send back again to review for a modification was submitted and updated once more through NACA''s web site that they gave me to keep in contact with WFHM. However, the time went on and I did not get a clarity of a modification; instead, the bank sent me letters to sign and transfer the ownership to WFHM; but that I was going to be responsible for the difference of the balance and also responsible for the second loan, after many attempts to trying fix my situation and obtain a modification, or a better solution to my detrimental circumstances; it was when I decided to take the services of PLATINUM GROUP SERVICES during April 2010, to help me sell the the property as soon as possible as a short sale. That was in order to avoid bankruptcy, foreclosure proceeding or further damages and to avoid credit sabotage. On June 12, 2010 I had the opportunity to go to the event that Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and NACA held in Atlanta Georgia and I received a solution, but the confirmation was unsuccessful again. They would nor confirm what my new monthly payment plan was. After several weeks I got in contact with WFHM to have a confirmation about the modification that the bank give me when I went to Atlanta, and what amazed me the most was that I needed to update all the information again to see if I qualify for a new modification; however, I sent again all the information that they requested to me to get the modification. Unfortunately I have never received any information whether the appeal was approved or not. So at the end of July 2010, I contacted WFHM to let them know once again that they had lied to me according to the second modification, I told them that they could proceed with the auction process. I made the decision to leave my property, because I was scared not find a solution and I would not see myself homeless, and also I never had clear information about the modification. The web site that NACA provided me said that the auction was announced on August 03, 2010 at 11:00 am. This auction has never been stop, this still going on. Unexpectedly, on September 03, 2010 WFHM called me to do my mortgage payment because my payment was due for then month of September. I corroborate with WFHM that they have never sent me any correspondence that my modification was approved. Now, they have been calling me making me feel intimidate, saying that even if I do not send the payment I am still currently responsible tor what might happen to the house since I left it. They state that WFHM will keep calling me to collect any debit, or if I have any attorney they need to get in contact with the attorney to know how this situation will be conclude. Please, I need your support on how to proceed with this antagonistic situation, my family and I lost the stability of our home. Now I need to know how to resolve this detrimental situation as best as possible. Now I only depend on my own income. Thanks you for your consideration of this important concern. I deeply appreciate your help and understanding in this matter.
