Last year we had a pool put in by bluewaterfiberglasspools.com which is now www.worldwidefiberglasspoolinstallers.com andwww.worldwidefiberglass.sanjuanpools.com/. The contractor Ed included 5 feet of concrete around the pool in the contract price. He did a decent job putting in the pool but failed to do a lot of the backfilling. The subpar contractor he selected to do the concrete work did a terrible job that we are stuck with now. While the concrete contractor was at my home trying to fix some of the issues they actually cut into my pool with a saw then denied it. I called Ed and he told me to tell them to leave and he would fix everything. To my surprise he actually showed up a few weeks later with this big plan on how he was going to fix everything at the end of his busy season (summer of 2010). While he was at our house he talked us into going ahead and paying the $1000 of the money we owed on the contract even though we were not satisfied with the job and it was not completed, he also took a $1000 deposit for a pool cover. When the end of the season came I tried repeatedly to get in touch with him with no luck. Finally I was able to contact him through email and he drug me along all winter saying he was going follow through with fixing the concrete and send me the pool cover, after going through this for about six months and him never showing up and even changing his cell phone number. After tracking him down again I told him I just want my money back so I can have someone else fix it. He said he would send me a check but it never came; now I cannot get in touch with him.
