Work Out World is a total scam. While they have pretty good facilities, their cancellation 'procedure' is designed to harass you until you give up. To join you simply walk into a gym and sign-up. To cancel, you go online , download a form, send it by certified mail. If your contract is not over yet (which is often the case), it is just impossible to cancel. In my case I knew i was going to join only for 8 months and then be moving to north jersey. The representative had said that yes its fine. I would just need to show the lease agreement. Now that the time has come to cancel, I came of the ardous 'procedure' to cancel. Even then they are saying they are not ready to cancel. They are not accepting the lease agreement as proof. I will have to wait to move to the new address and get a bank statement/ utility bill etc. Everything except a lease agreement !! And by the time i get that, they will rip me off for another month of charge!!. Devious people ! In addition , I would be charged 10% of my contract fee every month for the cancelled period, which I was never told of !! If you search online for "work out world scam" , you can find several complaints. Wish I had done some reasearch before joining!! No repeat customers for these unethical guys!
