This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. Scheduled to move my moms furniture out of storage on a Friday after work.I called to confirm the move Thursday before. The day of, 5 min after they were supposed to be there, the guy called and said the movers can't come; something happened with the brakes on a truck. Said they would be there Saturday morning at 7am. Drove to meet them that morning. he calls me again at 6:55 and says they wont be there until 8. I show back up at 8. I wait until 8:15 and I call. He says the drivers are on the way. I wait a little longer and call. He says they are driving to an address I didn't tell them to! I asked him' "Isn't this why you take down the address?" He said, " i didnt take the order." also said they were at another location in Dickinson, and there wasn't a second storage location in dickinson. I wait 20 more min and call. He said they are a few minutes away. Now they are over 2 hours late and finally arrive at 9:10am.My mother's estate sale started 2 hours ago at this point. The drivers said they were called 10 minutes before they arrived, so the manager lied. I told the drivers I wasn't paying $125 for a move that the guy lied to me for 2 days and gave beyond poor customer service. They called their boss and asked for a discount. He said no. I called him and asked him if he really thinks this is a way to take care of a client. He said call the owner on monday if I have a problem. The driver said...he is the owner. I call back and he doesn't answer. i call again and he ignores my call. i call from the drivers phone and he picks up and I ask him if he is the owner. he says no, maria is. The drivers then said maria ia his wife. I ask the guys to move my things if I get my own truck. it was against policy, so the bottom line is, i went with them because I had no choice. The van had no roof and no back door. They had to drive 30 miles an hour the entire time because their brakes were smoking so bad. Owner has no clue about how treat people. Disgusting.
