Per the company guarantee: Access America will refund your insurance premium if you cancel your insurance within 10 days of purchase and have not filed a claim or departed on your trip. To modify your policy or file a claim, please visit: www.etravelprotection.com/hotwire The word 'or' is used; NOT' AND' which mean based on this statement you are entitled to a refund. Per the above language from the policy, 'or' means only one or the other element is required, NOT both. So if you are within 10days of purchase AND have not filed a claim, you are entitled to a refund. You would also be entitled if you had not departed for your trip. Once one option is picked, the other should be eleminated. They are using both to evaluate the process. If you meet one standard, they apply the other so they don't have to refund based on their contract language. A slight of hand deceptive practice.
