I recently applied for a Sears credit card online, and specifically made sure not to click anything about Account Care - My wife had problems with this company previously, so I was watching carefully. Imagine my surprise when I received a notice from this compnay, thanking me for signing up with them! They obviously automatically sign you up whether you click it, or not. Then it is a hassle to get them to cancel their "service". Be very careful, and get on top of things immediately when you get a notice from this unscrupulous company. My wife had to call several times, and ultimately file with the Better Business Bureau, to get them to cancel this "service". In conclusion - Very bad company, unscrupulous business practices, and Sears owns them, so that explains why they would never help my wife.
