Being excited to have my first apartment with my long term boyfriend we were very excited when we thought we found the perfect place. Until we met the landlords, thats where this goes south. We were told on April 29th that the place would be ready to move in on May 10th. Being in a hurry to move out this was perfect for us. We turned in our applications and the wait began. It took almost 2 weeks for them to tell me I was approved, even though we make over 4 times the rent and have amazing credit. Then that May 10th date kept getting moved, and yet not moved. They never knew when the apartment was going to be ready, we had to call and email over and over to try and get a straight answer. Shari told me one move in special, and Baruch Halevi told us another. Then they said it would be ready the 16th, we agreed and started setting up the move. We agreed to move in, even though some french doors needed to be replaced. We were in a hurry to move and had no problem with construction going on as long as we had a home. 8 days before move in they ask if they can rip the doors out and put up tackey plywood, I nicely refuse and ask them to wait. 4 days later, they tell me they accidentally ripped them out and destroyed the doors. This is 5 days before move in. When I am upset, being that my nice apartment is no longer nice, I ask them to put the old doors up for now, he refused. I asked for compensation sense I was clearly getting the short end of the stick and he refused to rent to me. So basically he screwed me over for 3 weeks and now I am starting all over. Shady guy, I would be afraid nothing would ever get fixed, and you will always get the run around. This man is rude, and should not be working anywhere!
