| I met this man through his wife. She worked at a Scottsdale jewelry store which I contacted to have my Rolex repaired. She was friendly and did take my Rolex and had it repaired. I asked her if the store did estate jewelry business and she indicated "no" but I could put you in touch with my husband and he will consign and sell your jewelry for you. Met with her husband who was so nice and cordial and we spoke about himself and his life in the antique business of which I was also. He invited me to their home and I enjoyed the visit and seeing his new puppies (5) and he also visited me at my home with his wife. I felt like they were part of my family and were going to do a great job selling my jewelry. This was in 2007. In 2008 I asked him to return my jewelry as it was not selling except for a few items; ie, another Rolex, 24K chain and pendant and misc. gold jewelry which he promised to pay me. He asked me to meet him at a restaurant in Phoenix and would bring my jewelry and money. When he sat down he told me he had bad news in that his home was broken into and my jewelry was stolen along with his wife's jewelry and other personal items. Said he had reported this to the police that day and will send me the money from his insurance company when the claim arrives. I was heartbroken because I really wanted my 2carot diamond ring back along with other heavy 254Kt gold and diamond pieces totaling approx. $25,000. He returned a few inexpensive items only. I tried contacting him about the insurance and never heard from him again. Called the Police Department and verified there was never a robbery at this home. Have not heard from him since. There are other reports on this website about him and he is still out there scamming others in the years following my experience. They need to be investigated and charged. I am still working on that. |

| This little weasel scammed me on a bogus investement in an Estate sale company as well.I started doing my research on him...found another 13 people he had de-frauded, or outright stolen from.He is a CONVICTED FELON in NY State, no driver's license, checking account, or permanent address.makes his living solely by being a parasite.Do yourself a favor, and NEVER do buisness with this sub-human.He is known to frequent North Phoenix bars, where he trolls for victims, he has stolen from the elderly, and the sick, knowingly sells fake items, and has no remorse whatsoever.Currently he has involved himself in a housing deal, that I'm positive, is another type of scam..the address is 915 E. SELDON LN. in Phoenix, and ALVIN LELAND WOODS phone number is 480-720-2284. If you are one of his victims..please notify me at [email protected] am currently working with other victims of his cons to bring justice to this POS. |
