i was first contacted that i had won a second place win. it was changed to a first place win
because the original first place einer had died, so they claimed. There was supposed to be
a delivery before 5:00 PM EDT June 21, 2011 it did not come the next day They said I had to pay another $2500 dollars whioch I did not have. Asking for !% of the wiinings is not right or necessaay the they claimed the government sent the money back to Nevada from Logan airport. American Sweepstakes & Promotion Company

I was contacted today (my birthday) by a John Hoffman from the National Gaming Commission. He said I had won 2nd place in a American Sweepstakes Co contest. $450, 000! He said the check was there in Wash D.C. and that I had not claimed my prize and so the law is the company has to give it to the Gaming Commission and they attempt to contact the winner so the prize can be paid. It was to get the sweepstakes companies that were not paying out prize money. Anyway long story short, gave me the Amer. Sweeps # and said to contact them to release the activate claim no. and register the funds. After a conference call with both the commission and the sweeps co. it came down to paying a registration fee of 2% or sending 700 to an offshore acct. The end of the story is sad as I do not get my prize because I cant afford to pay the money up front. I was offered a gov't grant for 50% of the fee so my portion would only be 335. but that is my food, and bill money and what if... so scam or no my birthday could be worse...That 450k sure went fast!
