The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division does not issue financial aid stipends. They keep holding my money and give me excuse after excuse as to why. My so-called financial aid counselor is now blaming the accounting department but will not give me the accounting department phone number. This is impacting my so-called education because I must spend so much time tracking down money that I need for school. The Financial Aid counselor seems to be there to keep me from writing this report and being placated with the status long enough until I either forget about my money or they can find a way of keeping it.
This is my second counselor. The first one went off to Italy. I wonder who's money that was on?? This is a very shoddy organization and you should carefully consider committing yourself there. Beware is all I can say. They do not care about anything but getting your grants and loan money and then not paying out what you need to have for school expenses. As for the education, I am in my third semester and have yet to take a photography course. This is NOT a school. It is a BUSINESS. They will do anything to keep your money.

As long as you do what you need to on YOUR end, I have never had a problem getting my due stipend, or any help from anyone there. I love my photography classes, I have learned alot, and It IS a school, a good one in fact for ppl like me that run 2 businesses and dont have time for 'traditional" school with a family to care for also. you have to WORK hard and earn what you get. and it is a school, and it is a business. just like anything else. every school is a business.
