Well my story is so long that I am going to try to shorten it us. I purchase furniture last May and reported a issue in January, A rep came out and said the piece could not be fixed. I then received a call saying they would send me a new piece in 4 to 6 weeks. After the 7th week I called just to be told that this set had been discontinued, when I asked why no one called me in this past 7 weeks to inform me of this I was told, I do not know. After Arron told me I had two choices at this point then I lost it. He said I'd have to take a floor model or pick another piece out that would not match my set. I tried to explain that I did not purchase a used piece of furniture so I did not want a use piece, or a piece that did not match my set. The manufactor warrenty is suppose to be good for 1 year and then he told me I had the set for 8 months so they would not do anything else. Just an FYI I purchased the extra insurance when I purchase the furniture but was told that would not cover this either. I asked for his supervisors name and called. The supervisor tried to tell me the same thing Arron did and when I said no this is way out of control and I want the set replaced he said and I quote, "let me have the piece picked up and try to repair it". I said I am not willing to wait another 4 to 6 weeks. Chris then told me it would be 6 to 10 days turn around time, well guess what - I still have not received a call back to set up a pick up time. How can this company have so many bad reviews and still not care? If I ran my business this way I would be out of a job in a heart beat... Ashley Furniture has the worst customer care center, they do not care if you are unhappy or will never purchase from them again, nor anyone I know or am related to... What will it take for this company to step up and do the right thing??
