I got a report from a Rude male stating his name is Ron Adams and I received a payday loan and did not pay them back. Once I informed him that I would be reporting this to my attorney general office. He stated that my case has been cleared. I continue to call the number back (202) 622-8292 I get a busy sign. Every time I call back now I get a hung up on. They had all of my personal business. SCARY

I got the same thing, except from a different number. He called from 1-803-400-8483 threatening me that the sherriff's department will forcefully take me to my local court house to take care of the legal matter. I do no know what he is talking about. I've tried to call the number, but when I call, the phone doesn't even ring. It shows that they answer, but no one will say anything.

I got a call today saying the same kind of things except the number was 408-538-8530. He was very rude and whenever I tried to speak he said dont interrupt me. I do have a payday loan that needs to be paid but It was nowhere near the amount he stated. I offered a to make a payment arrangement but he said that he needed almost half of the debt owed. When I told him that I did not have half and that today I could only do $100 because my ex husband was in near fatal car accident and that i wasnt receiving any help raising our son...he told me that he was sorry for my misfortune but I cant help you. I decided to hang up the phone on him because he continued to be extremely rude. I then decided to google his name and the phone number from which he called me from. I found out that this has happened to sooooo many other people. I was so pissed genuinely scared that a sheriff was going to come to my house and arrest me. Are there any answers out there as to what to do about this?
