Becky Acord's daughter Taylor Wyman rode in the Massachusetts Horse Benefit Show in October 2010. Becky pre-entered her daughter. When she picked up her daughter's exhibitor numbers at the secretary's booth the volunteer forgot to ask Becky for a check or cash. The day after the show the mistake was realized. I tried to contact Becky for over a month. I finally reached Becky who told me she had paid and had her bank statement to prove it. She would not fax, email, or mail the bank statement. I finally filed in small claims court against her but on the day of court my son was sick and I could not appear. A check from Becky for the $219 (It did not include the small claims court fee.) arrived in the mail two days after the court date. I deposited the check and on May 2, 2011, received it back with STOP PAYMENT on it. Because she did not show up in small claims court either, the case was thrown out. When she received notice of this in the mail, she put a stop payment on the check. So, now, she has taken $219 plus the $40 small claims court fee out of the mouths of horses. All the show's proceeds went to Blue Star Equiculture Draft Horse Sanctuary in Palmer. The $259 would go to feed the rescue horses. She refuses to pay. As a side, her daughter won well over $200 in prizes at the Benefit Show.

Well I guess that is what you get when you pay in cash. It went to court, was thrown out as she was found not guilty. If you pay in cash, get a receipt! It sucks people cannot be honest. They should redo their books and they will see that she DID pay. I was next to her. Saw everything. So sad for her. Great person!

Oh and I forgot to mention. mommytwo has it in for her. She sold her a amazing horse and mommytwo could never be satisfied. She is a completely crazy women.

Horse Lady; you have no idea what you are talking about, get your facts straight before throwing accusations around. Sold me a horse, again get your facts straight and I am far from a crazy women, thank you for your kind words. Lastly; why would someone post the above if they were paid, I know they have much to do other than post a comment as such. You would be surprised if all was posted on this site, thank goodness its not. My comment only comes from what I have read and when I read this I couldnt believe it.
