Ben Ford, homemadeenergy.org Do not buy from this company!! Internet

If something sounds too good to be true then it probably is. He claims the module or panel to be "grade A". No it is not it is home made.It will never be anything more than home made the panel was not built using any standard. He claims the life expectancy of the unit to be the same as high end units. How can he know this? What kind of testing was performed on his homemade unit for this claim to be valid? He first claims that a panel can be built for under $150 this is his first claim and the price seems to continue to drop periodically throughout his video. He claims that anyone without technical skills can build the unit....WHAT? I'm sorry but building anything that will produce current should be done so only by a qualified individual and not plans that someones buddy who was an electrician let them draw up. If you have no soldering experience then chances are things will not flow the way you want them to. I can't imagine how an electrical inspector would react to one or more of these things. I could continue to pick apart this video but I will touch on the obvious things. He claims that the meter reader was amazed that the meter was spinning backward... It would seen that the meter person would have known about the interconnection agreement that he would have to made with the power company. Article 685-690 of the national electric code will let anyone know what is and what is not allowed in solar installation. Even if these home made units worked you would need inverters, disconnects, balance of plant, charge controllers if battery bank is used. Then there is safety equipment which prevents island during a power outage. I would not wipe my backside with his scam. I did not buy his product because I have knowledge solar systems. If you want a system installed you do need highly trained individuals who know state, local, and the NEC. Just remember you get what you pay for and you pay for what you get.

Has anyone tried this system, I mean tried with an open mind, and no one has mentioned how many panels it takes to run the whole houseful of electrics?

As an I.B.E.W. ELECTRICIAN BROTHER, I claim, No superior Knowledge of ANY mention of standards from my purchase of this Home made energy, video.

I am currently embarking on a venture that has NO promise of Mass Production, although I will Solely state :
"MINE WILL NOT BE BUILT IN CHINA"

"GOD BLESS AMERICAN WORKERS"

I purchased the solar panel build kit information, as solely a guide to use in an experiment to the possibilities to free energy in a financially dwindling economy. I am a professional. I have integrated with this video and adapted to a "HOME MADE POWER SOURCE".

EASY TO BUILD AND EASY TO MAINTAIN.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.

RICKSTREET72, This video is WORTH the purchase for the Handyman in US ALL.

I checked out his video, and decided to make the purchase of the upgraded kit for a mere $47.00 (limited time offer of course) than I get 4 emails billing me for different amounts. The amounts were not $47.00 but 2 at $71.00 and 2 at $56.00. Naturally I figured I've been SCAMMED and If I don't hear from him by tomorrow and get these Extra charges reversed, I will call my Credit Card Company and report a FRAUD and then I will report him to MOTHER EARTH NEWS where I saw his Add.
