This company currently has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. They had 15 complaints with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, part of the Department of Transportation, in 2010 and had 5 as of February of 2011. Do not use the company for any reason! If you have any problems with this company, file a complaint with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration under Complaint Against Households Goods Mover at their website. It is a waste of time dealing with the company directly. Their is no customer service. Enough complaints with the FCMSA will result in an investigation.

This company will try to attract customers with low prices because their reputation is so bad. They will make false claims of delivery date to get your business. Nothing stated by them can be believed. Find a moving company with an "A" rating. You don't want to lose any of your property. I had three boxes missing and others damaged. I had a small piece of furniture damaged. If you've had a bad experience with this company, you have the right NOT to go to arbitration which they push. Arbitration is optional. Depending on the property damage, you can sue them in local court. You would actually sue their process agent in your state. FMCSA can give you this information.
