I made a BinaryBiz.com web purchase through their 2CheckOut.com fulfilment company and within 15 minutes I called 2Checkout.com and asked for my order to be canceled. Why did I want to cancel it you ask? Not until the END of the web order did it state that the order would NOT be immediate - it would take several hours before my order would be processed and my activation key sent. Not acceptable for me and I wanted to look at other options now. It ultimately took 43 days, 3 phone calls, 4 eMails, and lots of hold time and arguments with 2Checkout.com before I got my refund. Strange when I issued my cancelation request within 15mins of the order before it was filled. Hindsight is 20/20:
Warning, BinaryBiz has s slick website (the lure) but what is absent is any reasonable means to contact/speak with a representative (phone, eMail or address). Note that no contact information that you would expect is anywhere on the site. They do have a customer support form page. But good luck at getting a response from them on that either. Of course, I tried to communicate with them on this support page but my request was to cancel my order and issue a refund and I got no response. I wouldn't doubt that if you have a sales question that they would reply - part of the lure scam. Note also that they have no physical address or eMail - tell tell signs of a poor business. Other Observations:
Note also that it is very unclear that you are purchasing a quota license. This means that you are limited on the megabytes of data that you can recover with this purhcase - scam as that is not clearly stated on their website. Although this program is very nice and does do what it says, there has got to be a much cheaper solution out there. I would never purchase this item. Shop around, don't be lured in my the website eye candy! :-) Also, 2CheckOut.com was unable to get in touch with BinaryBiz via any means they had (phone, eMail) over the 43 days of this issue. But yet they refused to provide me with a refund even after I called them out on this very issue multiple times. Note that I was talking to their upper management too. Sure was coincidental that after I issued by BBB Complaint that I got an eMail out of the blue stating that my refund request would be processed.
|i tried to use BinaryBiz today to buy some software. strangely they initially refused my order without additional security information, which sounded legitimate, until i saw what they actually required. they wanted me to scan the front and back of my credit card and email it to them? Are they serious? Well there was no way i was doing anything that crazy.|
so i tried again, but this time selecting a different method of payment. I went through the process again, this time opting to use 2checkout, where at the very end they told me it could take 48hrs to clear? How? when you can buy anything from anywhere instantly online why would these people need 48hrs?
So I went in to try and cancel so i could go elsewhere. There was no email on the site, but there was a link in the email they'd sent that i should use if i have problems. well i followed that, filled out the fields... and nothing. it just keeps saying the fields arent filled in, then jumps to the login page where it asks me to login by my email or my BinaryBiz order code. Both of which it claims not to recognise. so I'm now down the $100 i paid for it and unable to contact the site for a refund. it looks to me like that is by design. never use this company, band of thieves.
