Cabo Auto Sales this company reposses cars they sell in a premeditatd scam. Canoga Park California
20th of Jun, 2009 by User651699
My husband purchased two cars from Cabo, . and made payments on time for months. He had found out the hard way indeed Cabo never intended to financed him as promised.we are not the first to fall victim to Cabo Autos unscrupulous and unethical charades. And, over and over David and Alex played tag your it with our lives. Letters were written demanding that they refund our money and take the car back. David promised to post payments on TRW to advance our credit since the car was bought for that purpose. David assured us that our financing would go through any minute and that he would post our payments himself. Time just kept going by. That's when we knew he had no intention of doing anything but stringing us along. One day at the Marriot, where we were staying as repairs were being made on our home, The vallet came up to me and says (your car has been reposessed)".He also told me how the tow truck driver had bragged to him about how Cabo Auto gives him so much business by putting tracking devises on unsuspecting customers with poor credit. They receive huge down payments on the cars then promise financing and then default the customers by denying financing and repossessing their cars.No notices no proper D.M.V guidelines.Straight un adulterated theft. He made reference to a tracking number on top of the tow reciept. To add insult to injury David promised to give our car back if we would give him another we owned as payment towards the initial car we had purchased. How could we not get financed with such a huge down? That brought the total down payment to almost $18,000 dollars. Now I realize WE were under duress and should of walked away.
He re wrote the contract one of many.Gave us the car back after paying an absorbanet fee. And low and behold our car was repossesed within weeks, and we were given no opportunity to retrieve it. His excuse was that he sold our contract to some other lender,I later learned that it was all a lie.Six thousand dollars of our property were also stolen out of the car between the tow driver and the car lot. New two thousand dollar golf clubs and a watch that was in the golf bag, music equipment and expensive electronic equipment that was in the trunk. When confronted David just spoke in safardic to his ascociates and scoffed. A trait he uses when he does not want you to know his wretched plans. I made a felony theft report with the police. Our email is [email protected] please contact us. HELP!!!!
Other persons haave filed a reports for a related cases against Cabo. (A 2004 Range Rover) and a (2006 BMW) pls contact us.We are in the process of working with DMV invesstigators the Attorney General and a great "Spot delivery scam" attorney that assures us THEY WONT GET AWAY WITH IT! Lets shut these guys down!!!! Randy
