Every promise that Cal Lutheran University made at the time we were considering having our child attend was broken. This University cares nothing about the students who attend, only the money they receive. After spending over $60,000.00 in 3 years at this school they are refusing to release transcripts for a loan that did not go through. We were never notified that this loan did not go through until we made the decision to leave the school and received a bill for $7,000.00. We have asked the school if we could make a down payment and be placed on a payment plan but they refuse to release transcripts until the bill is paid in full. This is only making it so our child cannot continue an education at another institution. Don't be fooled by what these private colleges promise you. Your child cannot graduate in 4 years, no way, you are better off going to a state school, less money and better treatment.
